Privacy Policy

When you use Clearview, we collect the information you give us and some information about how you use the service.

• Names and email addresses — yours when you create an account, and your tenants' when you add them to an inspection.
• Property addresses — the addresses you enter for properties and inspections.
• Inspection photos — the before and after photos you upload for each room. These are stored privately and are only accessible to you.
• Usage data — basic log data like which pages you visit and when, browser type, and IP address. We use this to keep the service running and fix problems.

We don't collect anything we don't need to run the service.

Everything we collect is used for one purpose: to provide the Clearview inspection and reporting service. Specifically, that means:

• Showing you your properties, inspections, and reports
• Running the AI damage analysis on photos you submit
• Generating PDF reports and emailing them to tenants when you request it
• Sending transactional emails — account confirmation, password resets, and report delivery
• Keeping the service secure and diagnosing technical issues

Your data is never sold to third parties, used for advertising, or shared with anyone outside of what's needed to run the service.

All data — account information, inspection records, photos, and signatures — is stored on Supabase, a managed database and file storage platform hosted on AWS in the United States. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Photos and signature files are kept in private storage buckets. They're never publicly accessible by URL — access is controlled through short-lived signed links that expire automatically.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we'll delete your personal data. Email us at support@clearviewdeposits.com to request deletion at any time.

We use session cookies only — small files stored in your browser that keep you logged in while you're using the app. We don't use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.

If you block cookies, you won't be able to stay signed in.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Specifically:

• Access — ask us what data we have on you
• Correction — ask us to fix anything that's wrong
• Deletion — ask us to delete your account and personal data
